Default No More eBay Chat Box !??! ( Live Chat )

I just received a violation that I was going to talk to an ebay rep about via the chat box and I cannot find it anywhere! It ONLY gives me the info to call on the webpage. I cant find the option on the 2 other accounts I checked.



Not good. not good at all. Is it done for?

Do you guys mind taking a look at your accounts to see if you have the option to chat with a rep if you wanted to?

Since when has it been gone? I was just using the chat today with eBay rep. It's not

easy to connect to a rep, but if you search for the right keywords you will be able to

connect.

I have gone through all the links in ebay customer support page and the only thing it gives me is phone call. Can you give me which keywords to search for?

Okay I got it within 5 seconds of going onto eBay...

Heres what to do:

Go onto ebay...
Don't sign in...
Click on top right 'Contact Us'
Then select 'I'm A Guest'

You are then shown three options 'Buying' - 'Selling' - 'My Account'
Hover your mouse over 'My Account' and then click on sub tab 'Registering An eBay Account'

a new page will load, then on the bottom right you get the three following options:
- call us
- chat with us
- email us

click on chat with us...

THERE ISNT EVEN A WAITING PERIOD ANYMORE - straight onto a rep

Here's a link I found for live chat says it's open from 10 pm to 5 am for the "suspicious account activity" and "item not recieved" options, haven't tried it yet though.

That's what it says on the lower options but the top 2 options, mentioned above says this:

For the best service during our normal business hours, please call us. Chat is available between the hours of 10:00 PM and 5:00 AM Pacific Time, when our phone lines are closed.
