Ebay scam buy 2 not one

I sent a guy 2 Epson inks and he messaged me and told me only one arrived and will I be sending the another one
I no I sent 2 as its not here and I'm sure I am being scammed and does this happen a lot?

yes both in same package feel like I got burnt but cant prove it

Nothing you can do.

Best thing to do is send a replacement via recorded mail and eat the loss.

Partial refund or have them return it for a full refund.

The only way to prove it would be to weigh one of the same item and check the weight on the postage receipt and see if it is 2 or 1 item.

If you cannot send out a replacement then explain that to the customer and issue a 50% refund.

Check your postage or courier records.

Everything should be provable.

Partial refund is next point of consideration.

Remember to also block and put settings that buyers can only purchase a certain quantity in a certain amount of time.
