Default Firefox is slow motion on Ebay, but Internet Explorer is fine, whats wrong?

I use Firefox, but in the past few days it has basically started to run in 'slow motion' mode for searching, logging in in fact for everything, the page just kind of freezes

BUT

I tried the internet explorer and that works normal speed, so the problem lies with the firefox, can anyone tell me whats wrong please, thanks and a merry xmas to all

I do know that eBay did a site update and added some new scripts to the "My eBay" page.
I do not know about other pages.
"My eBay" slows down Safari (Macintosh) due to a unstable script.
After the script loads and is translated by Safari it is fine.
But eBay updates your "My eBay" page every 10 minutes with new information.
So every 10 minutes I have to go through slow script thing again.
So it might be doing the same thing inside FireFox.

Yep, that's what I did. Uninstalled then downloaded the latest version.
