Default Halifax mis matched, How does it fair for you?

Hi Guys!

I have just verified an Halifax current account for my PayPal but not so sure what to do as I am concern since it is mis matched and haven read several opinion on Mis matched fund been returned to PayPal and subsequently getting your PP tossed.

I am afraid to withdraw funds!

Has anyone on here been riding on Halifax mis matched without any problems. Would like opinion from people who got tossed for it as well.

Thanks

I will always say AVOID at all costs! 1. They're linked with Lloyds 2. They really are NOT as good for stealth as everyone makes out, trust me.

So do you suggest that I add another bank the remove the previous? Bear in mind the bank was added only few days ago?

Is this something that has changed more recently or has it always been the case?

Reason why I'm asking is because other senior members and mods here have always vouched for Halifax as being one thats good for stealthing and I personally haven't had any problems since I started my stealth operations.

Really surprised to hear such a negative thing about Halifax, never seen it before.

Not questioning your experience or knowledge, just that when you say "trust me" is it based on your personal experience? If so, could you share it perhaps so that we could learn from it?

Halifax being linked to Lloyds is more than enough reason to give them a mega wide berth, everyone knows Lloyds is a no go area for stealth, Halifax is the same by association, you have just been extremely lucky Haidukken. taerese can just add Barclays or Santander or one of the other banks that are widely used and work faultlessly.

Thanks guys! I have just got the associated ebay limit increased from like 20+ to nearly 400 and I am been extra careful. Wanna breed it past Nov 5 when I know I would be extra safe.

Thanks

I use Halifax accounts, mostly savers and never had any issues with them.

I withdraw money to the saver, then transfer to my main current account with them and been doing that for years with no issues or questions from Halifax.

Most of my PayPal accounts are business accounts so Halifax will only see the business name and not the mismatched names I use.

I have been using Halifax for years without problems. I can't recall seeing any threads where people have encountered issues.

It's not until you have problems that you actually realise what a bad idea it was using them.

Not serious, just a bad idea to use them and yes they share LOTS of information with Lloyds and that's why you should stay clear, but hey, carry on using them because 'they're fine'

Well they are fine until something happens, so fine for me so far. Can't see how sharing with Lloyds is an issue. Are you going to let us know exactly why Halifax is bad?

Ok, can't see how sharing with Lloyds is bad unless Lloyds and PayPal drink together
