Case Opened While Withdrawal Pending ??

Hi Guys

This has never happened to me but its a thought that has just popped into my head.....lol


Say you withdraw all the funds in your paypal account to your bank and paypal says its going to take 72 hours to complete, then the next day someone opens a case against you.

Does the withdrawal still go through and your account goes into negative balance or does paypal cancel the withdrawal just in case they need to refund the buyer?


Has this happened to anyone on here?

I would never withdraw all the funds in the PayPal account.. That's an easy way to get limited. I always leave some.. I like to leave 10-20%

As long as it's pending , the funds are still in the account, and PayPal will just cancel the withdrawal.

That's probably the main reason PayPal holds funds pending for so long, to prevent fraud.

Your funds are not completely safe from PayPal until they are in your hands
