arktech - Yes what you say is correct.

The £25 is the credit on the card.

The £2.95 is a fee you DO NOT see at all - so forget replacing that.

Once you have confirmed the card on the PayPal (£1) will come off.

You are left with £24.

Take the gift card + £3.95 cash and purchase another one in store, this will work.

My Entropay is linked to my NatWest....no problems at all.

As for all these posts about what you do with your remaining entropay balance, and purchasing multiple cards for multiple stealths, this is one of the beauties of Entropay.

Costs 10p to verify a stealth. Job done. Want to verify another 20 stealths sometime over the next year? No need to buy more cards at £25 each.....just log in and it takes 10 seconds and costs another 10p per card.

Using a card (such as entropy) confirms a PayPal
Only a bank account will verify a paypal account

Important to not get the terms mixed up as they mean very different things

I am talking about overall stealth not paypal. Although we could easily debate the terminology used with confirm/verify.

You use what terms you want and I will also.

You're attacking James on his clarification? Wow

P.S. Confirm and Verify are two completely different aspects of creating a PayPal account. The PayPal account has different restrictions imposed, depending on whether you failed to confirm or verify it.

@realdeals - when you fail to use the correct terminology, it results in discrepancy and confusion amongst other forum members.

Really isn't anything to debate.

VERIFY = BANK VERIFICATION which is where the word VERIFY comes out from.

CONFIRM - this is the word PAYPAL use when adding a card and you click to send the code to the card, this is PayPal's words not JamesNorth101's.

This is why we use them in that manner so everyone is on the same page.

Just thought I would clarify :thumb:

Yes because it is irrelevant to my post.

Card VERIFIES Paypal stealth address by passing AVS check.

Bank Account Verifies Paypal Account.

Card CONFIRMS not VERIFIES

Use the search bar if you're unsure in future bud ;)

Card verifies the address, as I said before I couldn't care less what your terminology is, that is mine.

No. It 100% verifies, otherwise it wouldn't pass AVS checks.

Call it confirm, I dont care. Fact is it verifies.

Bit touchy....

Its not really about what term any one person wants to use. One term means one thing and the other term means something totally different.
As an example its like saying the term grill and oven are interchangeable. They are not, one thing is grilling and the other is cooking an item in an oven. If you cook food and grill your lamb for 5 hours when it said to oven cook it your going to get very burnt lamb.

Term such as the 2 in question are important to make sure stealth accounts do not get burnt.
A VCC or prepaid card will confirm an address on PayPal.
A bank account will verify a PayPal

They are separate from one another so using the correct term in the right way is important to ensure members who are new to stealth do not get confused. It can all be a bit confusing as it is after all!
