I live in the UK and I am looking for a VCC/Prepaid card that I can link to my stealth account and potentially use from time to time.
Anyways I would prefer not to use entropay as I find that the whole process a bit of a nightmare. Are there any good alternatives to that or any prepaid cards that work great with PayPal that are worth picking up?
Thank You |
Re: Best VCC/Prepaid Options I was recently criticised by other forum members for saying entropay was complicated - apparently I was wrong. If so, I would say if you find this to be most complicated, you should consider just buying them direct from account sellers on this forum.
I have purchased from here myself. Their good to go. |
| vetus | 04-26-2016 04:28 AM | Re: Best VCC/Prepaid Options End of the day Entropay is easy to use - some members have their own opinions and are more entitled to that, it's what is easiest for each individual. I personally don't like adding Entropay to stealth accounts, it was one of the first VCCs ever to be used on stealth accounts, lots of non-stealth members use virtual cards nowadays but personal preference I like to be different.
There are some other nice VCCs out there or you can look at gift cards. Morrisons have just taken on some new 4 year gift cards from ilovemygift.com - activate and you're ready to buy. Come in £25 and £50 denominations. |

Its pretty straight forward. Just open the account in your real details and you can be up and running them with pretty fast. |
Re: Best VCC/Prepaid Options P.S. if your afraid of going for high denomination such as £25/£50, remember, although you will only use roughly a £1 for verification, you can use up the rest of the balance on purchases - it is in effect a payment card. |

Thank You | You have options to different cards from the various supermarkets that work.
However, I prefer entropay and use that.
Thing is the set up method of entropay causes grief for some. Once explained, it is fine.

Just open the account in your real details and you can be up and running them with pretty fast. | I've just had a couple of issues with them when it comes to verifying my debit card to topup the account with, my bank keeps blocking the microtransaction that displays the verification code. My credit card normally shows payments made instantly so do you think that will get rid of all this hassle for me? |
| Dmshark25 | 04-26-2016 05:05 AM | Re: Best VCC/Prepaid Options Even with a credit card it may show the 1.00 that was used for verification instantly online under your " pending transactions" but the code may not show up until the transaction goes from pending to processed, which may take 3-4 days . But a CC should work as a top off method, just dont be discouraged if the code is not there instantly |

| vetus | 04-26-2016 05:23 AM | Re: Best VCC/Prepaid Options By the time you have dealt with that you could of been to a supermarket for a gift card :)
Deal with the bank then in the meantime get the VISA / MCARD Prepaid. |

Entropay is :) |
| donkeykong2012 | 04-26-2016 05:40 AM | Re: Best VCC/Prepaid Options I have little experience with Supermarket Gift Cards.
Are Asda cards such as below suitable? https://cards.asda.com/
They would have to provide the 16 digit card number, expiry date etc.
I was thinking of popping into my local store this week to test one.
Just realised I have a USC card lol I could test that as well. |
| vetus | 04-26-2016 05:45 AM | Re: Best VCC/Prepaid Options No you need these: or the Mastercard version.
Visa come in a red packaging or the Vanilla version in a silver packaging with a purple gift box at the top.
Store cards are not what is being spoken about so don't get confused. https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=vi...SPjwTASBaRM%3A |

Entropay is :) | I use entropay and its working fine but for the future i thought of this idea which I have not tried but wondered would it work ?
You buy a gift card and attach it to a paypal account. once confirmed, then buy another gift card using the balance on the first confirmed gift card plus a few quid and use it to confirm another paypal account ?
Has anyone done this please ? |
| vetus | 04-26-2016 05:51 AM | Re: Best VCC/Prepaid Options Not sure if you're saying to use the first gift card twice but that would link the accounts so no.
1 gift card = 1 PayPal
Same principle as a bank |
| JamesNorth101 | 04-26-2016 05:53 AM | Re: Best VCC/Prepaid Options That would not really work since you would need to fine somewhere that sells gift cards and can take PayPal. Not many places exist.
The balance on the gift card would also be too low to buy another gift card
Gift cards costs £27.95, and come loaded with £25
When you have confirmed the card its then reduced to £24. That leaves too little on the card to buy another card with. |

(if it were to exist back then of course) | HeeHee, in the late 80s - early 90s, we did churn and burn... Was rare then to even think stealth! This was for ebay UK too.
Boy, did those games end & our dreams get dashed.

Like I said its an idea | An idea that could work IF that gift card is reloadable. Not all are.
Worst comes to worst, spend the balance on your co-op shopping, and purchase another gift card at checkout? | | All times are GMT -5. The time now is 07:24 AM. | |
