Can i use a building society account instead of a bank account ??

I have just found an old britannia instant saver account i do not use.

It is still a financial institution BUT if that instant saver does not have Direct Debit facilities it

Her'e their contact number. Suggest you get in touch and check exactly what the account
offers. Ask if the account has a Direct Debit Mandate: this is how paypal will put the deposits into an account. Without this, no paypal verification possible.
