What about all the chinese look at there adress they use there all in China but yet there selling in UK

Chinese are selling on eBay UK but are still registered in China, not UK.
The discussion is whether, you can register on eBay UK (not another eBay website) with foreign ID, bank account etc..
It would be impossible for Adyen to run credit checks on foreign ids, so if the above is possible, then Stealth may be an option...

In theory, yes you can as it's not against ebay policy.

One big downside is that, like Amazon do without exception, they'd expect you to register for VAT and that would mess up your stealth plans.

IMO Adyen are not carrying out credit checks.

They are certainly checking something, otherwise stealth would still be easily possible. They won't have access to passport or DVLA licence numbers, but have access to online credit information databases.

I think ebay run soft credit checks. They feed into transunion.

Ebay do run soft search to verify if they can't verify you then they ask for ID which are also run by automatic system it passes in few minute!

Sorry No this is incorrect information, there are no credit checks on the name and DOB.
they run a know your customer check however this is not a credit check, its an ID check

This is true as you are not applying for a credit line so no need for a credit check.

However, it is TOTALLY IRRELEVANT for the purposes of this thread.
The bottom line is your info is being checked against the national database...

'call-them-what-ever-you-want' checks are being run against all ids - NAME & DOB MUST MATCH!!! Don't let anyone tell you otherwise...you'll be kicked out before you can blink!

Not sure what you are all on about but I have been running manage payments on a full stealth account for over 6 months now no problems.
Made up name, address, ID the only thing that is real is the bank account
Plus I have another account running on manage payments with no ID upload lol

If you've read my previous posts, you would know what 'I am all about'.
I, too, managed to pass half of my stealths during the first MP wave in July last year. The other half, however, still got banned!!!
Checks were not as strict then (not all id's were being checked due to teething problems).

However, NOWADAYS, all ids are being 100% checked against the national database.
If you try and activate stealth now, you'll be banned INSTANTLY!!!

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.
All tested and confirmed through numerous eBay accounts, I've provided detailed updates in previous posts...

Yes, you'll be able to see the 'Adyen' entry in your credit report...
As another user stated above this is only an 'id check', basically them verifying you are a real person.
This is not a 'credit check' as you are not applying for a line of credit...so your credit history won't matter...you just need to 'exist'!

Also, if your details are 'legit' (a real person) you won't be asked to upload any docs.
The activation process for you will be seamless...

As explained in some detailed posts above - you will really struggle to pass mp with stealth details, as they are carrying out several checks! At least the Name, D.O.B and Address all need to match. Even if you manage to sneak through by luck they’ll hit you with a random ID request after a few payouts…
