The MP Exodus
We are starting to see the MP fallout it seems.
I hedged my bets and did two legit conversions, and two stealth. I didn't trust the advice that Stealth would be possible, but I only had the option for two accounts to go full legit, so I choose my strongest ones.
Ive been recieved MP payouts on both legit and one stealth with no issues.
One stealth, the first one I submitted as the 'tester' which was accepted with no issues, never transferred over to MP on the date. It carried on for another almost two months with Paypal, taking big dollar, and then today, like others are experiencing, got the smack down. a five year old, big £ account with no vero's, 100% positive feedback and barely any resolution cases or returns selling white box goods. So essentially, as clean as a whistle.
- Curious to know if anyone recieving MP payouts has had a suspension?
- Do we think we will begin seeing more accounts already recieving payouts getting the chop as they backtrack on ID checking?
- Have you questioned, were you got your 'information' from that was required for MP verification? and potentially which aspect led to your demise? |

When did you originally registered and provided documents for your stealth MP? Most of the people getting the 'suspension with no notification' appear to be registrations around from around August onwards. |

| The first round, cant remember when it was , July 15th I think.
Was approved within a few hours and transition was later set for a few days into August. Never happened. |

What do you mean you only had the option for two accounts to go fully legit? Did you use the same info for two accounts or different real info? Quote:

They new everybody would go for it when it appears that matched names, that don't need to match, is all you need to know would get you on the new system with made up account names and photo shopped docs.
A quick soft credit check by them and they see it is a false account and bye-bye.
If you have not (tried) to convert your account don't. Make the most of it till they force you in a few months would be my advice unfortunately :-( |

| To see if i understood, one of your stealths is working ok with MP and receiving money?
What about the legit, you sent real docs and data for both? meaning they are linked?

Theres plenty of threads about legit conversion when this was all happening in July. |

Did you attach a savings account to that limited account? Or did ebay try and submit a direct debit and found the real name on the bank account? |

I have two legit ltds and ive not been requested to register, so was trying to understand if you are linked in the way you did.
Regarding stealth, if one is working, do you have any ideia what is the difference between them? why do you think one got banned and the other not?
I've registered for some stealths. all got accepted, but the two that got a starting date, got banned. So i expect to loose all the other ones.

So Ebay will just suspend accounts once they do a soft credit check to check all documents submitted ? Thats harsh.
I'm lucky i have never had a business account just a normal seller account so dont have to worry about Managed Payments just yet.. |

If you get an activation date but never get converted to MP except to lose your account. No message no warning no email. Straight shut down. |

They can’t validate ID’s unless you submit a poor quality ID, It’s the soft credit check which is killing the accounts. |
