verified manged payments with bank under different name

hi all got a theory

my friend has a managed payments account fully verified. i was wondering if i could add my bank account onto it (ive heard name mismatch is fine) i can just use the account as normal for selling

anyone have ideas?

It depends on your bank. As long as your bank is ok with mismatch names you should be fine. The issue is if/when they hit you with a document request... If they ask for bank statements/letter confirming account holder info you are going to have to get creative... Assume its going to happen sooner rather then later and have your ducks in a row.

that should be fine, if the account is already established and verified then it isn't likely that they will ask for docs. I did three accounts in this way and haven't been asked for any documentation and they have been selling for a long time now. I recommend using an online bank like Monese or Monzo, because they aren't real banks and don't seem to care about matching names.
