Default Ebay Payments

Hello

I currently have a daily disbursement account, but they are not sending the amounts to my bank I am expecting.

So the payments take two days to process then they should be posted to my bank. Today I was expecting around £150 and they sent me £25, and the previous days I didn't get what I was expecting either.

Is there some invisible hold on some of my payments?, there was nothing in the payment confirmation emails.

I've been through the payment section and I can't get even understand why I got paid the amount I did.

I know this is a bit vague, but has anyone else been in the same situation where they are expecting a lot more?

Edit: Also In my payment account it says total funds about £400, they have already paid me out about £400, but the total received amount is £1400, so where is the rest of the money going?

I have the suggested ad rate of 12% set but that shouldn't eat a shortfall of £600!

Also, on the 1st of October I made a total of £40 in sales, how much do I get paid on the 3rd October?......£1 !

I'm guessing it's because the government are taking 20% VAT as I ship these from overseas. Then again it still doesn't explain why I sold £40 worth of products on the 1st and I get £1 paid. Unless it's because the 1st was a Sunday

You can look into your seller account and see if Ebay has been charging you fees.
Do you use Ebay to print shipping label?

Yes they have been charging me fees, but it shouldn't be that much.

No, my items are shipped from China.

I'm guessing that it has to do with the UK government automatically collecting 20% VAT?

Since most buyers use their credit cards,it could take longer to collect the sales proceeds from them,if they are using cards issued by obscure companies,or foreign cards.
You could go to Ebay seller forum and ask, plenty of sellers there

It’s generally straight forward if you have a daily payout on an established account, sell something on Monday and you get the money in your bank on the Wednesday. If you have any promoted items sold the commissions comes out of the cleared funds as you have identified, other than that, any returns opened comes out of the cleared funds. If you are money short you need to have a chat with them about that.

I did have a couple of requests.

As for the rest of the money I'm presuming it's the VAT, it seems they take that at point of sale on Ebay.

Still getting used to this new MP system
