Default Payouts

Hi

I'm due a payout soon on a monthly disbursement account, just a small one for about £5 that I'm not bothered about.

I added a dummy bank account number to my account, because this is still a new Egay account and I want to tread carefully before wasting a bank account.

Is there a way I can stop Ebay from paying me?

Obviously It won't me remove the current bank until I add another

You can ask your buyer to file a case of item not as described !

if the deposit to your dummy account fails, you would be notified and then you can replace it with a good bank account.

I thought you just told us you have linked a dummy bank account and now you are going to add another one?
Then you will never get your $5.
It will be interesting to find out what happens when Ayden cannot deposit that $5 to your dummy bank account,it will come back to Ayden and how long would it take to put it back to your MP account?
In the past, with Paypal, sometimes when they come back, they just disappear into the big blue cyber sky and never to be found again !!!!!!!!!

You dont understand, Paypal has bank accounts and merchant accounts in its name ,these banks dont know us,they deal with Paypal, all our transactions are processed as Paypal transactions on their end,and we are just subaccounts only known to Paypal.
When $$ comes into Paypal,Paypal will distribute to our accounts accordingly.
Say I transfer $10K to my Wells Fargo bank account from my Paypal account,if I have question,I contact PAYPAL,not WFC as it has no record of any transaction coming from me to them?
MP is no different,as far as Ayden goes,it does business with Ebay,$$ coming and going are recognised as Ebay transactions,it is up to Ebay to sort out the details ,we are subaccounts within the Ebay account,Ayden does not know us.
Just think where and how is Ayden going to hire an army of customer service to serve each one of us,just keeping records of millions of Ebay accounts would be a daunting task and the money is not there, some Ebay sellers do not sell much.
Why does Ebay ditch Paypal for MP,Ebay is slowing and would like to make a few pennies more,we sellers did not see any savings,is there any?
The only advantage I see is that MP will deposit the $$ into our bank account,we do not have to do it ourselves like we did with Paypal,I wont call that savings me $$,may be some merchants do.
enough ranting

Take a look at your bank and credit card statement,it always refer to our ebay and Paypal transactions starting with Paypal xxxxx or Ebay xxxx,NEVER any reference to the Paypal party or Ebay buyer or seller.
If you buy from Joe Smith the EBay seller, you do not see his name on your cc statement, all you see is Ebay and a string of number but if you buy from Home Depot or Macy, you will recognise the charge is coming from Macy or Home depot.

if you keep adding bank accounts which cannot be verified,it will suspend your account.

Good old Paypal,it has some nice features,it fought hard to get into Ebay when Ebay has BILLPOINT ,then Ebay finally bot Paypal, then it spun off Paypal and then finally kick it out.
Some Ebay sellers like MP as they see the deposits in their bank account without lifting a finger .
Some like Paypal because they can keep the money in their Paypal account.

x days after tracking shows delivered, most sellers get their money.
We are not established reputable retailers like Macy or Nordstrom,we just have to put up with such ,what can Ebay do if we just take off?

He hasn't verified it yet.

If their experience is the same as mine when I tried this one their account will be suspended when the disbursement fails.

Yea, I would not use ⊗⊗⊗⊗ details, the automated system does not like that and will most likely raise a limitation or worse

There are a few reasons to like either MP or PP.

I still prefer PP though, one big reason is that Paypal don't generally hold your funds for more than 21 days, Ebay can put a payment hold of two months!!, they don't even release the money until the buyer receives their goods
