Default Setting up a petition

Hi Guys,

ive been thinking long and hard about this and i need everyone on this forum to help me out.

basically im sick of paypal limiting accounts, sometimes for the right reasons and other times for the wrong reasons.

im thinking of making a petition on change.org, to give paypal some bad press and hopefully if we get enough people signing on it could possibly make a difference.

my petition will be on "paypal fraudulently limiting peoples accounts and keeping their monies for their own ebenfits, at the same time people who depend on paypal are having to wait 180 days for no reason"......

if any one of you can suggest a different title id appreciate it. i will be creating a petition this week, as suggested i need everyone on here to sign that petition and give paypal bad press so that they become less strict, or even have some sort of impact on them.

if you guys think this is a stupid idea then please say so. but i believe we need to try something against paypal as this is getting ridiculous.

PayPal has 203 million active accounts worldwide.
This forum has 75k members, and we could to some degree conclude only that number are "affected" by limitations.

That in turn is a very small %. I cannot see this petition doing anything.

Brilliant idea - all Paypal will need to do is match all the names (stealth or real) on the petition to the list of names on Paypal accounts and start permanently limiting all those accounts

I dont think this is new to Paypal or any major bank or big business. Mathematically, paypals satisfied customer rate is far and away better than say Walmart.... never mind big banks and investment companies or insurance companies.

Maybe get these 10,000,000 visitors to sign. They already think paypal sucks and most likely dont depend on them for an income.

I honestly win too much using paypal at the moment to let them start 'investigating' everyone who signs up to be vetted..

It might of been more effective Nadeem if you had your mum to proof read it first, or an adult, and correct the spelling, grammar and phrasing.

Nice idea, poor execution.

Well said OP, and even if people sign this PayPal will gladly pay the government to leave them alone. IF it does ever get to parliament... lol

You need to get your back with alternative methods, this is just a huge waste of time. I bet majority of users on aspkin couldn't agree less...

Maybe... but we cry differently. ie. come back with 10 x accounts to replace the one lost. Don't worry majority of users understand your situation however seriously there is nothing much you can do. First rule of stealth - be prepared to take losses throughout your journey however don't give up...

Its not about crying its about the validity of your petition.

Writing a poorly worded and badly phrased statement with poor grammar is not going to be effective in the slightest. You need to put forth a well defined case, giving an example (use yourself in this case) and denoting what PayPals methods are etc etc You can also use examples of how PayPal refund scam buyers etc

However, and there is a big however, say if your petition went to parliment and they decided to govern PayPal. Yes you socked it to PayPal and will cause them no end of grief but eventually there will be no way Stealth accounts will work then as they will have full access to databases allowing them to further check the validity of a persons existence rather than just photoscanning software and basic algorythm checking.

Think about it like that..

Ebay and Paypal, like banks are the biggest illegal legal companies in the world. Corruption is rife , there is no 'right and wrong' theres just how you can dance the legal tightrope to get away with it.

Exactly, their are entire websites dedicated to hating paypal. Your time is better spent perfecting stealth than taking on paypal in the house of commons although a lot of people here has at some point wanted to bring them down.
