Closing Paypal account outstanding collateral

Trying to close stealth PP account, have no need for it anymore. There is 0 bal but it shows £59.06 on hold. It has been showing that for years....Paypal wont allow me to close the account down due to outstanding collateral.

This account cannot be closed with an outstanding collateral. Either wait for the collateral to be redeemed or contact Customer Service by clicking Contact Us on any PayPal page.''

Should I contact PP ? Or just sign out and leave it Dormant?

As you can't close it then either pay it off or leave it 'dormant'. Can't see you have any other options

Im going down the route of just leaving it dormant, the account is in very good standing. Never know when I might need the account in the future, kinda been a thorn in my side for a awhile now on what to do.

Paypal never remove any account,so whether closed or open,it would still be there.
