Default Money not withdrawn to my bank? why?!?

Hello again!

I have been using Paypal for a few months now and its been ok, I have transferred money inbetween paypal and my bank account several times now.

Anyway last week on Tuesday I transferred £30 using the 'faster' withdraw to bank account option that they charge you £5 for, so I have been expecting £25 to appear in my account as of last Thursday.

Now my problem is that the money hasnt appeared in my account, which has left me stuffed cos I am totally skint til I get paid on Wednesday this week. On Paypal it says the withdrawal to my bank account is 'completed' yet in my account the money is not showing up at all! FFS! I did the exact same thing the week before last only I transfered £50 on Monday using the 'faster' withdrawal service and I had the money in my account for Wednesday! So whats happening?! Where has my money gone?! Now I am paranoid that they have sussed something out, i.e, that my bank account isnt in the name that I have registered with Paypal, but according to eBay Stealth this shouldnt matter should it? Can anyone suggest anything? If its not there in the morning, and its already nearly 1am then I am going to have to ring my bank / paypal. Please Help!

kind regards

Johnny

That supposed quick £5 transfer is so unreliable paypal should can it. I have done more unsuccessful transactions with that than I care to count.

From what I know, these 'special' transactions get handled differently than run of the mill straight transfers. They get done in batches in the clearing house. Name difference is no biggie....( your mate paid the extra £5 to get you money because you're skint )

Check in the morning & go from there

wait I always thought that if the name on paypal and the name on the bank account are different then the bank would get suspicious. I mean would they consider that illegal or what?

when adding B acc not to add a full name just use initals like j.smith instead of john.smith.

I wouldnt worry I withdrew my first amount last Monday (normal withdraw) and I am still waiting for it to appear in my account.

The transaction was pending for 3 days then Thrusday went to Completed on paypal yet still not in my account

Hoping it will be there tommorrow which will be 6th Working day

Yep... express withdrawal is crap.

I did 2 transfers at the same time. 1 'express' and 1 normal.... the normal came in first and a day later the 'express' came - hsbc 2 identical accounts. Ideaaly, I want my fiver back pp!

it's becuase of the name veriations on stealth's that whats stopping them go through quickly.

there is a round about solution that i posted last week.

Sometimes matching details go slow but i have found that to be on one of the first transfers from said account.

Just and update its cleared now so 6 working days from withdraw and I think 3 from when it said completed first time.

I have noticed paypal called me 2 mins after I withdrew again (small amount) so I called them back and lady said everything was fine and my account was good.

I actually asked if there is a rpoblem with me withdrawing - she said no its fine your verified so you can take out what you like - yeah sure Ive read the storied of limitations happening anyway for taking out too much, to me it seems all automatic.

No disrespect mate but if you are that skint - why are you throwing an extra fiver into getting it quicker? seems like a false economy to me, better to think "I need money" a couple of days sooner (as though that's possible)....just a thought...?
