Default Can't verify Visa Debit

A family member was nice enough to loan me a bit of money so I've tried to go stealth once more.
I'm signed up with everything in place...

But PayPal and eBay aren't accepting my fresh Visa Debit when I try to register as a seller. It's got £6 on it and its a Royal Bank of Scotland card. I thought an RSB card was safe to use?

Keep getting this "This credit card has been refused by the bank that issued your credit card" and this "Unable to process the information provided. Please contact Customer Support"

Obviously, my info doesn't match my bank statements.

Can you change the address of your VISA debit online to match the address of your pp account?

But that's not being stealth, is it?
It's worked on different Visa's in the past with different name/address.

If I change the name/address on my Visa with RBS, that'll be lying to the bank, which I thought was totally against all rules!

But you need to have the card details match the address info of pp - the bank does not care because you OPENED your bank account in your real info...that's the key part. You don't falsify info with bank.

That's weird though. I've never had to have the address match before. It's always worked.

I've looked into it and they're going to require ID, obviously, but I am nowhere near the address I've told PayPal I'm at and I just can't lie to a bank, not matter how much they may not care.

Might try Entropay to verify. Otherwise, I'll just kiss the account goodbye. Haven't lost anything (except the ability to use that bank account with PP again!)

AVS: card registered address needs to match with e/b registered address. At least the house/door number and postcode do. They can't check street name or any other details including name.
