Receiving liit confusion!! plse help
 

Hi

I got an email to say limit has been lifted and the upload fax documents has a green tick. However above that its says I still have to do Confirm your personal information Review and confirm your account information.


I'm confused as I thought I was now in the clear..Anyone had this happen??

It does say congratulations you have lifted you receiving limits. then below it says: Your account has a receiving limit. To remove this limit complete the steps contained in the table below.

I'm very confused by this???

Is your paypal verified with bank? confirmed with cc? Few details missing.

It's nothing more than a glitch - should clear, on occasions it does stay there.

Ah ok - then yes, the message is just "sticking". Should clear in few days like Callidus mentioned - report back if it doesn't for further suggestions

The limit is lifted. Don't worry about it. It's partly to do with the "new look" Paypal.

It won't clear until they update that part of the website. It's been like that for over two weeks now.

I got that message yesterday on 2 accounts i made.

They are mixing the withdrawing and receiving together.

In the past when the receiving limit has gone away due to a similar glitch on the old look paypal (where the View limits button had even gone, making you think it's limit free)

Once I hit £1900 the accounts were hard limited, as if i'd done something wrong by not lifting the limits.

Hopefully they sort it out, as with this and the fact they are taking 40 days to lift limits it's rediculous.

What do you mean by this?

The account does have a hardish limit it on it when you receive more than the EU limit (which is nearly £2000 now). You will have very limited ability to do anything on PP until the limit is lifted. You can still receive payments though

As you can see, they have lifted the withdrawal and receiving limits together, before i've had a chance to confirm my information.

I've had accounts in the same boat to this before, and I can confirm the accounts have ALWAYS been limited when I hit the £1900. So while the limit may "go away" it hasn't genuinely been lifted. Which is a pain for me.

The "confirm information" is still "to do", however it isn't clickable.

Yes this is what I have got, so when you say they have always become limited at £1900, what did you do? did you have to contact them to get the receiving limit lifted?

When an account in the UK hits the EU receiving limit photo ID and proof off address will need to be sent in.

There is no way around this for a stealth account.

I can relate to this thread.

I have one account that looks like the Rec Limit has been lifted. It looks identical to a recent one that has had its limit lifted.

There is no upload link, nothing in the Res Centre, nothing.

I have 2 other accounts with a Yellow banner in the Res Centre indicating further info is required.

Will be very cautious with these accounts.

If you've already sent in docs and have a green tick, that means they've accepted your docs and your limits been lifted.

Different to what is being experienced in this thread.

Yes I get that bit, but was confused as if you look at the screen grab above it says congratulations the receiving limit is lifted but underneath it still says its in place?? this is what I'm getting too
