I am very specifically asking if anyone has actually been stopped from accepting payment and forced to register into MP? Meaning, the paypal was detached from ebay and buyers could not pay etc....

I’ve had one person report to me that this happened in the US however I’m a little bit sceptical as to if that was the actual problem with their account
What was happening was payments were going into PayPal but then being automatically rejected and the funds being sent back to the buyer

That would not make any sense at all. Paypal would not be returning payments. It would be that the buyer could not pay at all or your items were hidden.... or at least that is what I imagine could happen.
The screenshot I was sent did show the payments going into PayPal and then PayPal show the message of the payment being rejected and it was from for five different buyers but like I said I do have my doubts that it was anything to do with manage payments

There is a past post on the forum where someone said they could no longer list any items, unless they joined managed payments. I believe it was from last year.
Still no invite my friend what I'm thinking is if u get no invite then u didn't meet the requirements and you have to use paypal. It's all really strange??????
The invites and the register emails I have recieved, don't have any date on them, but they do state 'we will activate you for managed payments near the end of July', and a managed payment box has appeared on my seller hub.
I have absolutely no idea if means its compulsory at this stage or not, and neither do customer support.

That tab started showing on all of my accounts (aside from the one already in MP) a few weeks ago right around the same time everyone here started freaking out about July 15th.

Yes same here, it appeared a few weeks ago, but none of my emails mentioned this 15th July. I don't know if this is a US thing or not...
I have several stealth accounts. I received an invite back in Feb which I did not take and now in May I received a "take action required" email to sign up before 07/15. Not all accounts only this one. Not everyone will be required by July 15th only those ebay picked. If you got an invite then you probably will be required in the next round. Sadly looks like ebay is not backing down on MP
