I agree with tin. It’s happening BUT if enough sellers in the marketplace do band together. eBay will rethink its strategy. eBay is a for profit business. If it’s revenue drops by even 30% what do you think share holders are going to say. The economy isn’t booming during covid19. eBay knows it. Honestly they should slowly ease sellers in instead forcing.

Everyone knows eBay changes their strategy every 3 months. The right hand doesn’t know what left hand is doing. Half of the time you call up support their foreign support center gives misinformation.

No offense the back office needs to concentrate on implementing a better marketplace for everyone. You want to convert buyers to sellers and sellers to buyers. Stability and consistency which eBay does not have.

eBay seems to be replicating amazon but imo is stupid. Amazon has better execution on all fronts. eBay use to be good with niche markets but with all changes and inconsistency. I believe a lot of sellers left or stop selling on eBay.

It is inconceivable that Ebay would ever have a 30% drop in revenue. Their profit is growing...

and MP is a big profit center for them...

"We have already seen incredible momentum with managed payments, and we expect it to deliver $2 billion in revenue and $500 million of operating income in 2022.”

There's no reason for Ebay to change their plan. Sellers have to accept that.

Even in your quote we EXPECT to deliver 2 billion in revenue. It all depends on Revenue. If they can’t make Q2 profits then they will change course.

Mister expert How do you know that? I’m sure eBay will lose out most sellers specially the beginner sellers that are new on eBay And they’re retards if they’re planning off getting rid off new sellers and I have been hearing eBay system is easy to hack and it has been hacked before.

MP is going to happen and if you think there are that many stealth account in their marketplace, then you're wrong. I can assure you that there aren't that many stealth accounts left in their marketplace since eBay enhanced their security and the aspkin forum isn't as big as many on here thinks. Yes, there's a lot of stealth accounts and there's an even larger amount of real accounts.

The only people not excited about MP are people who rely on stealth accounts to run their business.

Numbers can be biased. Revenue is what matters at the end of the day. If people are complaining it means they aren’t executing it correctly.

Okay and that’s a good fact eBay business will claps And down fall because they suspend real accounts for nothing and then people have to go stealth way and there are the dumbest company for doing this and I bet u they will go back running to PayPal.

Let's just say if I was in eBay shoes right now, I would not do things any differently.

Yes, things can change; but at this point, it's unlikely and anyone with real business experience would know what I'm talking about.
