Unique situation stealth account converted to MP with a chargeback pending - help!
So I'm using a 7 year old stealth seller account with a not real name, address, etc. connected to a stealth Paypal. My account was just moved to MP *today* as the deadline. My old account (and the reason I have a stealth one) was popped by eBay 8 years ago for selling legal software, but they thought it wasn't, and had all my personal info correct.
About one hour ago a d'bag buyer claimed a return on an item he bought, and Ebay sided with him because of course they did. So now they will refund him out of my PP account once the item is returned. If he uses an eBay label, then I even have to pay for this moron's return shipping.
So my question is, should I just disconnect my PayPal and start up a new account with real name, etc. and hope for the best, and if I do that will he not be able to collect the refund? Or should I try to keep this stealth account with a ⊗⊗⊗⊗ SSN and hope it squeezes by Ebay checks, but then I'll have to refund? It's only a $100 purchase, but this adds drama to the whole thing. I assume my best bet is to disconnect the PP from my stealth, take a shot at ⊗⊗⊗⊗ info, and hold my breath.
Curious how this all works on the very day I'm converted to MP.
Any guidance is appreciated. Thanks!
