Does letting an account "cool off" really work?

Lets say you have 5 accounts, and you are selling many vero items on one account for about a month. What if you stop selling on that account for about a month or 2 and move to another account to sell for awhile?

I dont see a reason to move to another account if things are fine. I only cool off when I get hit with Vero strikes.

yes it really does work. Especailly if you got a bad customer who stalks you around. This happens alot. If they see you have much left they can easily report you.

Works like a charm. I rotate periodically, just because...

In the few cases where I get the VeRO removal of a listing, I cool it for 30 days, and sell standard items for another 60 days before attempting to list VeRO on that account again. I don't mean the account was suspended for VeRO, I mean that the moment a listing gets ended for VeRO, I let it cool.

I've found that if an account had a violation or two in the past, even years ago, eBay will be quick to take listings down for completely bogus violations. And, if the account complains about a buyer, eBay will 99% of the time not believe the report no matter how much evidence and give you a "false report" warning.

I dont think it works well enough. A seller had a vero listing every 2 or 3 weeks. The vero owner saw the previous feedback and sent over a violation swiftly. Three strikes, youre out I guess. The best way a seller can list vero is to ROTATE different types of vero per account. That way theyve only sold one item to the vero owner, yet with 5 accounts going with 3-6 different vero items, its a very profitable and successful method to move stock.

what about if you have 3 ebay seller accounts all tied together and use 1 account, then it gets vero warning, so you move to 2nd seller account, then it gets a vero hit, and you move to the 3rd, and get a vero hit....would that count as 1 vero hit for each account or does it count as 3 vero hits since the info is the same.

i know that ebay allows a seller to have multiple seller account as long as none of them are suspended, but i was just wondering how they calculate the vero hits
