Default high risk vero items?

Does VeRo consider golf clubs sets as high risk itmes? Also what are some items that are high risk but not on the radar as bad as p90x or dvds?

Vero is not a department, it is a program. If you own a brand name or copyrighted material, you can become a member and have any products that you believe to be infringing (i.e. counterfeit) removed.

Some brands, as you mentioned, enforce their rights more aggressively than others. Some overreach, ending listings for legitimate items. But it depends on the participant.

High risk is another issue. eBay considers items to be high risk if they have had problems with them before. The more problems, the higher the risk. This ecompasses many things - branded items are only a part of it. The also consider many cell phones to be high risk. Ditto for jewelry (other than costume jewelry).

So it is really two issues.

If you have a legitimate supply of items that are trademarked or copyrighted, you could approach the Vero member and ask them to allow you to sell their items. Some will grant permission, others won't. Burberry, for example, has publicly stated that they would prefer that their products were NEVER on eBay at all.

You also mentioned DVD's, but not ALL DVD's are considered high-risk. The new releases and the box sets are usually the ones considered the highest risk. And the classic Disney stuff. But if you wanted to sell some 5 year old DVD's, you would probably be OK.

Here is a good method of determining risk. Go to Wholesale - Buy China Wholesale Products from Chinese Wholesalers on DHgate.com and search for the product you want to sell. If it is listed there, it is considered high risk.
