Correct me if I'm wrong, but my understanding is that stealth gets you just under the eBay radar. Big Brother watching and seeing you like under the micoscope, if it wants to, even in the stealth mode, isn't it?

^^ stealth does not help with all those problems, like competitors, vero takedowns, psycho buyers etc

but it is a way of not being traced by anyone if things go wrong and changing address when banned from old one.

Oompa,

I think you have it right there. Not a cure for the problems. It's more of an insurance thing. Keeps you anonymous and allows for the possibility of coming in by the back door again later.

If you check these phones on ebay, they are heavily profitable and sold in large quantities by many powersellers. Even though they're counterfeit, sometimes you can get complaints and in trouble with your customer[s] if they find out the counterfeit item doesn't work like the real one. I just don't think a real and a countefeit electronic item can ever work the same (specially when it comes to camera and Wi-fi) even though they might look exactly the same. I myself could and would never buy/use counterfeit electronics.

which wholesale list is worth paying for?

the only place Ive got reliable suppliers from in the past is alibaba and its free, but I am looking to search new products and not sure I want to pay $20 min just to have a look.

Is it a good idea for us to share log ins, for searching purposes? Im willing to pay for one and swap for another etc....

I had good times with alibaba, just make sure you dont pay by western union or any unsafe methods. Also dhgate is pretty good, but I like alibaba better.

When I used to sell tangible items, I got 75% of all my items from: Liquidation.com - Wholesale and Surplus Auctions by Liquidators and always did very well.

Alot of the big department stores auction off pallets of returned and overstock items there.

They have a location near me so to save on shipping costs I would pick up my purchases right at the warehouse.

Just make sure you read the auction descriptions carefully.

or perhaps a factory has a contract to make reebok shoes, the factory then makes "extras" and sell them to some wholesalers, that in turn sells them on alibaba.....the shoes are authentic...but just not "authorized" by reebok

been there, done that. its just not worth it. too much complaints and headache, 70 percent of the items bought are defective in my experience, unless you buy brand new overstock, which is almost impossible to have decent profit margin when all the fees are calculated.

I'm pretty happy with dhgate so far besides my iphones being held in customs for 2 weeks and inspected. So far everything seemed to be pretty good quality you just need to look for sellers with at least 100 feedback and scan through the pages and read the feed back. I get the highest profit margins from dhgate even with dropshipping. I actually love dhgate I've got gold VIP status too:D

I recommend you guys NOT to purchase cect phones. They are poor quality and 50% of my items I received came defective. One of them the touch screen would not work and the other one it would not change the page. I had to sell them on craigslist or kijiji since I did not want customers doing charge backs.

dhgate has 3 tiers of membership (like powersellers on ebay)
Much depends on the volume of sales as to what status you get.
