[UK] Amazon account suspended for wrong account type. PLC? Passport verification etc.
I had my legit account suspended in March due to it being an 'Individual' account. They asked for I.D. after I hit a sales threshold (which I provided, passport + utility) and then they told me I cannot continue trading as an 'Individual' and there was no way to change account types at the moment - "Engineers are working on a fix". Started looking into stealth accounts. PLC, 4G internet dongle, PO Box (£168 / 6 months!) and basically the whole shebang.
However, if the same situation comes up whereby a passport verification is requested, there really is no way around this is there? They already have my passport details on the original legit account which they can then link, even though the new account is a registered 'Business' account using a PLC?
How do you UK stealth Amazon accounters get around the sales threshold in this respect?
