Hi Guys so a little bit about my situation. I'm a long time stalker on the forms and I'm pretty knowledgeable on stealth but my accounts seem to get stuck at 100/5000. I've been able to run them without any issue. but they've been stuck there for months. Had these accounts for 7+ months. They raised it to 100/5000 at month 3 and then no increases.
I have been selling to the 100 item limit for the past 2 months and no increases still.
I am trying to figure out why the item limit will not increase? The item is essentially a cheap common $7 item listed in computers. I wasn't sure if just listing in 1 category would do that? Obviously since its a cheaper item, I hit the 100 items but only use $700 of the $5000 limit. My accounts don't get suspended, their limits just don't increase haha
This is getting bothersome and some help would be much appreciated.

I have a lot of stealths and any that jump from 10/1000 to 100/5000 have not seen another increase since. I have other accts (newer accts) that don't jump to 100/5000. Instead they go from 10 to 30 to 90 to 270. So, I may be wrong, but, I am convinced that my 100/5000s won't see another natural increase. It's been over a year on some and every other month they are capped out.

Only eBay knows.
Best thing to do is A - Carry on selling to the limits. B - Get more stealths going so you can sell more

I think every1 now will get stuck at 100/5k limit.. Here's what you should do...
Make a backup account in case a disaster strikes...begin building the feedback on new account. Also withdraw the maximum amount from paypal and just leave enough for ebay fee, this way even if u get limited, ur money is not stuck in paypal.

I have an account that is just 3 months old and already received 3 increases
I sell mostly all cheap items between $4-$10
Now when I received the increase I just listed close to my limits, meaning would have an item and list it BIN with a quantity of 10 or 20 items, and I do this with 12 different items until my limits are low
Now I didn't sell to my limit but listed to my limit
I only sold 78 items in 4 weeks on this account and received 2 increases from 100 to 220 to 500 items

Simply put there is no logic at all. My past account, also a top seller account went 100>250>400 then stayed like that for a year even though I sold to the limits month in month out.
Another 2 selling in parallel a few months ago, selling the same things in the same way have seen increases of 2400/14k and 650/5.5k in 3 months.
Spread sales, keep creating accounts and good luck.

Thanks for the advice guys. One thing I was wondering about is this: does selling in different categories affect selling limits at all? Do you guys always list items in several categories?
I was just listing one cheap item in one category in an attempt to get the limits higher but I'm not sure if different categories helps.

Selling limits are across all catagories.
You need to list items in the catagory they apply to or you risk them getting taken down

I am curious if having a TRS account leads to having your limits increased faster than a non-TRS account? Having a TRS account in the past brought on extra stress for sure. I gave up on it and really didn't see much of a change in my sales reports. But if it helps increase faster it might be worth it!

Never really noticed a difference myself.
Account can get away with a bit more (DSR, Feedback ect wise) but not ever notice it make much difference to my selling limits.
The US may differ |

Anyone else doing this and seen any patterns?

All u need to do is go to a dollar store maybe buy a few items but what I did was snap pictures of there shelves, so I had an idea of what items they have large quantities of, I have 5 dollar stores within a 2 mile radius of me, so instead of wasting space for inventory I just keep the items at the store until needed
Some popular items I will buy 15-20 items each, but if I'm not sure, or something that sells slow, I keep at the store
Everytime they raise the limits I increase how many items for each bin listing until I'm close to running out and I get that message saying request higher limits
And so far I received 3 raises and my first sale was Aug 15

For new stealth accounts, I am getting zero limits and its saying I have reached my limits when I have not sold anything.
Anyone know a way around this?
I have been making successful accounts up until now, where I am getting this problem.
Help please.

My accounts are stuck at 10/1000. I only got 1 that auto increased to 30/3000. All 5 of my active accounts are down to 0 so they need to auto increase soon.
This is going to be stressful around Holidays as sales pick up. I don't have time to run 10 accounts at once just to be about to move items.

Agreed, that does sound like a great idea DM Shark, and a great way to do distance marketing using stock on pound shop shelves photographed in situ and only going and buying them when we get a sale!
