couple weeks ago my friend has ended building a new type of website. This website is a pretty new idea - he named it "Auction Selector". Can you have look on it and write what do you think about it ? - Trodu.com - auction selector - What Sells Best.

I don't clearly see what purpose the site serves but it's really just a site that shows "what's selling" and just a link to those products on eBay. Nothing I can't already do myself.

The base of automatic rating is 'Crowd Wisdom' (majority is right) as a set of criteria taking into account number of buyers, comments, users'opinion and articles observed most often.

Tak a look at this category Best selling Consumer Electronics - where to buy cheap best - Trodu.com First item "AC Wall charger" - Sold 1808, the next item, "Newest DVR207 HD 720P" - Sold 58, the next one "Waterproof CASE +Earphones iPod " - Sold 15

It follows that the best way is to buy "AC Wall charger" because 1808 people already bought it . Since so many people bought it, there can be no question that the product is not worth buying.

Sadly it is an extra step that kind of eats up time :( Buying the best selling items doesnt always lead to highest quality

I agree with you.

Has to be something behind it because it to me serves almost no purpose at this point.
