Activity: 0% Longevity: 47% | | How do you manage your IPs for multiple accounts, VPN, dongle etc?
Hi
I am just curious how everyone else managed their IPs, i am currently using a dongal and a spreadsheet from the forum. It works ok and is probably the cheapest way to do it, but its a bit cumbersome pulling the dongol in and out every account change.
I have signed up for a 123VPN 24 account, but this too has its own problems, i.e Cost. If i have 10 accounts, thats 10vpn accounts i need and on top of that cost if you need to change your IP because of an account limitation its $25 ontop.
I am just curious what other people are doing?

I used to use a dongle but its too time consuming so just use VPN
so much easier although a little slower. need to have a word with company see why. apart from that I'm more than happy

A dongle is easy enough and takes seconds to set up.

I do not check, I just make sure that I have shut it off and on again before I use a new account. Like others said, I checked it when I first started, years ago, but do not bother now.....
If you are UK, and just running UK accs, just use your home hub or a dongle and shut on and off between account changes....you do not need VPN | The Following User Says Thank You to oompaloompa For This Useful Post: | |

I have been using a three dongel for over a year now, cheap and easy to use. I have yet to have a duplicate ip! Their ip range must be huge.

If you can get the one which has a 12mth expiry and 12gig for £30 works out much cheaper than the pay monthly version. Which is £15 for 3gig!

Dongels are fast.
Once setup, it only takes seconds to get a new ip.

After switching to 3 I hated myself for not switching sooner. Obviously some providers work better in some areas than others, but 3 seems to be in a different league to some.

Dongle/tethering better than VPN in your own country

As they say time is money | Don't check if it has been used before then, so many IPs get shared by different people on a daily basis, reusing IP often not enough to cause account problems on it's own.
Also mobile IP a lot cleaner than VPN IP, unless you have Dedicated IP, then becomes exorbitantly expensive if you have one IP for each of many accounts

Each to their own.
If youre making say a few hundred pound profit on an account I don't see £20 breaking the bank.
Treat each account as a separate business.

Treat each account as a separate business. | Agree with sax, for ages I used to log every i.p and cross check it, took up time.
Last year or so I haven't bothered, use the same '3' dongle over dozens and dozens of accounts and i.p's have never been an issue, and never lost an account because of it.

Treat each account as a separate business. | So you said time is money but you don't seem to mind wasting money
