Anyone else experiencing that ..... Slow Sales on eBay
Hi Everyone,
I know every now and then someone is having a bad sales experience and someone is making it big and better in sales. I have been selling on eBay for last 7 years and everyday i was doing good sales. My sales proportion was directly related to the hard work i was putting in - up until this years start.
I have been seeing decline in sales since Feb this year and it seems to be that the visibility of my goods are becoming low and low. I was getting 10-14 sales a day and they were all ranging from £70 - £160. But since Feb 2017 i am only getting 2-4 sales a day. Thats something i cannot digest. Everyday i am improving on quality of my listings and adding new products in my category. Enhanced staff answers questions with in 3-4 hrs. My dashboard and Feedback is in good health too. My handling and dispatch time has been reduced. I am wondering what eBay has done to bring sellers to this position.
Any feedback would be appreciated.
Thank you

I see this type of post about 2 or 3 times a month consistently since I've been on this forum.
Check your competition and if there are newer/better products than yours. Like newer versions etc. Check your keywords. Also if your account has received any negatives/poor DSRs or below standard etc.
Maybe your niche just isn't as popular anymore. I sold the same 6 products exactly like you said for 3 years until they would only get a sale once every few days. I have to liquidate my full inventory and start from scratch.

Yep, ive never seen a lull in sales on eBay for over five years...now, its dropped off to half daily of my usual.
It'll pick up again, they have been tinkering with the site again and the search isnt working again and the large volume sellers are getting more exposure

You need to do more market research before you list your products.
It could be a number of reasons why. Price, competition, or maybe the listing itself is not standing out.
Add your own pictures rather than using stock photos. Also if you are top rated I would advise you to offer a one day dispatch time and a 14 day returns policy. This way your top rated badge will be displayed and visibility increased.
I would also advise you to use promotional manager if you have a shop on Ebay. Or you can contact Ebay and they can maybe offer you advice etc.
