Activity: 0% Longevity: 0% | | Do I need to change EB/PP details after buying a stealth account from someone?
Hi,
After buying a stealth account, do I need to change the details to my details?
If not, then isn't that illegal to use someone else identity?
Also, if I buy a PP from someone and it's VCC verified, the credit card is under the other persons name because he verified the account, right? So what now, I have an account with someone else credit card details? Is the bank also written on thier name?
I hope I am not asking stupid questions, I did buy and read the book already...

If its bought from the forum, then you would be best to ask the seller you bought it from.
Always best to build up browsing history before making changes though.

Ask the seller of the account.
i would not change any details until you have established cookies and some history on the account. The vcc and vba on the account wont affect you so dont worry about them.

So if I get it correct, you first buy a stealth account, then after a while, you can change the details to your details? Then it is considered to be your account? But what if you have other accounts on eBay already, they won't link it together as it carries the same names now? Or is the linking process happens only when you open the account and verified it for the first time?

When and if you change details you have to change them to details that do not match any other current or old ebay accounts you have.
If you buy an account from a seller, they will be able to help in more detail.

Changing registration info is a huge flag to pp. Get support from your seller but operate the account in the reg. name. If you have a PP account of ANY kind, you need to withdraw to your source e.g. bank

You NEVER should change the account details - it draws unwarranted attention.
The only thing you need to change are passwords for gmail/eb/pp...
When you start changing account details, it looks like the account is getting hijacked and it would draw alot of unwarranted attention that can cause it to get shut down.

| Sorry but it really doesn't seem like you know what is going on. If I make up a name, lets say I use: Jonathan Ham, will I find someone in the world named that? OFCOURSE! does it mean I stole that persons identity? NO!
How many people do you think exist in the world that have exactly the same name?
Answer: A LOT probably! Quote:
Also, if I buy a PP from someone and it's VCC verified, the credit card is under the other persons name because he verified the account, right?
| A VCC is a Virtual Credit Card, it doesn't belong to any 1 person, it doesn't hold any real person's information, nor address, nor SSN, nor their favorite color! Quote:
So what now, I have an account with someone else credit card details?
| Read what I just said above! Quote:
Is the bank also written on thier name?
| When you purchase an account on this forum, the bank account is verified usually with a VBA.
What does VBA stand for?
Answer: Virtual Bank Account, again....this is only a tool used to verify the bank portion of Paypal, They aren't using someone's info, No one's SSN# has been stolen.
If your next question is, "How do they obtain a VBA"?
Don't bother asking. Quote:

| Not stupid, but in a way it seems like your too paranoid about stealth....Perhaps Stealth is not for you if you feel like your committing a crime by either making your own stealths or purchasing one.

Changing anything except for the bank and phone number will draw some serious attention to the account.
There is no reason to change a thing other then the two items above.

There is no reason to change a thing other then the two items above. | Isn't it safe to change the passwords for eB and PP after purchasing an account? Albeit, after waiting a week or so in between each change?

I was kicked off eBay before so I have recently just bought an established eBay account after reading eBay Stealth at length. Now, I have just set up a new paypal account with completely new name, address, bank account, phone number etc. I will need to change all the details on the eBay account (email address, user ID, home address, name etc) to match the details in my new Paypal account to it, which ofcourse has completely different registration details from the established account. This feels like too many changes at once, which i believe eBay would notice and take action against. What do I do? Or is it okay to just link an eBay account to a PyPal account with varying personal details?

Yes, only post questions once, you won't get different answers the more times you ask a question
