Activity: 3% Longevity: 65% | | Moved to a different state 3 months ago, ebay found out where I live!!
So I had 5 ebay accounts suspended like 2 years ago in one state, I moved to a different state like 3 months ago, new address, new ip, new bank, everything brand new, registered as a seller, sold an item, received an email from ebay that says to verfiy my information using "Request higher selling limits" and that I can not sell or buy until I do so, so I did not do anything for 2 days, then i got slammed by another email that says call us with in 48 hours, so I called them and the lady says OH.. you have alot of suspended accounts linked to this one!!, am like I dont know what your talking about , she says she wants to put me on hold for several minutes, I freaked out and hanged up the phone. so my question is HOW THE HELL did EB find out that i moved, even though I have not yet changed my DL or anything else. WTF!!. anyone can explain this?
Also what should I do? , should I change registration information on that account before its dead? so I can open another one just to buy things off EB? please help.

Appears you have reused old info in some form on other accounts.
If you are stealth, what would 'changed my DL' have to do with being correct in stealth practises?
Did you do name variations?

new address, new ip, new bank, everything brand new
| It's odd they can link you if you claim everything is new. There's something that you missed.
I'm guessing after you moved, you used the same computer (which is perfectly fine as long as you didn't mix up Windows accounts).
I didn't hear any mention of cookies and web beacons? Did you create a new Windows account to go along with your new stealth account? Did you disable web beacons?
What about the ebay app? Please don't tell me you used that.
BY the way, forget that account, once they linked you with the previous suspended accounts...its toast. Your energy is best spent by creating new stealth account.

Did you use the same windows user account?
That is what seems to be missing from this approach.

Log through all your steps , everything right them down to the smallest detail, there is something u are using that is the same information across multiple accounts.
Did u make new user accounts for each stealth account?? If the cookies were left when u logged into one account and than u logged into another account on the same user ID, than the link is there .

Yes so I had an ebay account that was in my real information back in 2005 and it was suspended, I moved to another state 6 hours away because of a job relocation and I opened an ebay account at my new address, I had created a new pc account, have a nice ip address, new email, new paypal, new bank. only i used my real name and new address, so I created that ebay account and I was buying things on it from ebay and everything was fine until i made it a seller account trying to sell on it and then ebay send me an email that says, you can not buy or sell on ebay until you confirm your personal information using the "confirm personal information to raise limits",.
I was afraid to do so because not sure if they would know if thats me or not that had the suspended account long time ago, a day letter I received an email from ebay that says call us with in 48 hours.
I did call ebay and they told me that I have that suspended account and that am linked to it, so far am not sure how they got my personal information other then public records, but I have not changed my DL , I just opened a bank account in the new state, not sure if thats case too, but they got my information from somewhere.

You need to go stealth - were you trying to list similar items/same images as your previous account? That can link too

Did you reuse your old info on new paypal? Date of birth for example?
My guess is that PayPal checked public record database and figure you had moved to new address.

When I moved I never had an issue.
You need to do everything completely from scratch with nothing ever the same.
Staying hidden is the game and you will need to learn how to do so.
I even moved several of my accounts from my old state without any issues.
Read and learn about ip, tracking, cookies, user accounts etc.
If they told you that you have several accounts then you are too easy to track.

Are you checking emails width out disabling pictures first or responding from the email link from a smartphone or PC without clearing cookies or appropriate IP.
Are you logging all IPs , if u get sloppy and miss a step like that that's all it takes

| Having your real name on the account got detected when you upgraded to a seller's account.
That made a link.
All info must be brand new.
I am sorry you got caught.. |

Consensus OP is for you to go completely stealth moving forward - don't mess around with old info of ANY kind.

First rule of stealth is to never reuse old info.
Good Luck for the future. |

When I first bought the stealth guide back in like 08 that was really the main thing I learned from it. But boy oh boy. It was well worth the $40-50 or whatever it was at the time. Flash Cookies can be deadly.
