Activity: 0% Longevity: 25% | | Arbitration - anyone have any experience?
My account was deactivated and I have a lot of funds being held. It was a stealth account I purchased and then input legit LLC business info into and I was using it to dropship from walmart. I have walmart order info for all purchases and figure I prolly got a decent shot to get some money back through Arbitration.
Anyone have any suggestions as to a lawyer to use and any advice or experiences with Arbitration?
Thanks!

The central problem in this is that the account you are using to sell is not your own account, it is a stealth account. This is a problem at this point.
I think you couldn't solve much with a lawyer or in any case the costs would be very high.

I have gone thru mediation in small claims court for a case with a retailer, this is what the court always asked us to do-go thru mediation first,if failed, then come back to court.
Lawyer may work for a fixed fee.

The account was a stealth account that I purchased, but then I input my LLC's real ein and address info and valid credit card and bank account that is in the LLC's name before I started selling, so hopefully Arbitration can get me my fund they are holding?
No one has tried Arbitration on here?

I dont understand why they keep your money, you shipped with tracking?? or did you add WMT trackking
Unless they are keeping it for 180 days in case of chargeback, but if it is from WMT,they should be fine.
and why do you need arbitration>to overide what the courst say?
you can also go to AMZN seller forum and see if anyone has experience

I've checked forum, no one has any helpful stuff. Arbitration is only recourse, because ya sign amazon business agreement when you get a seller account in which you agree to binding arbitration instead of court.

So you are engaged in retail arbitrage ,taking AMZN customer money and then buy from another retailer WMT,which is frowned upon by both Ebay and AMZN.
But there is no reason to withhold your money, your account may get suspended.
So what did AMZN say about holding your money?
ALso there is somthing about AMZN vs Wmt,if a seller sells on both venues,he cannot sell for less on one?cant recall which one,but this is not your situation.
did you read AMZN rules and regulation ?
Did your package said Walmart?
One of your buyers could have reported you

One of your buyers could have reported you | Yeah, it's likely that we got an email or feedback mentioning getting a walmart package. We've had this issue and got flagged for dropshipping violation before, but they always released the money after 90 days. This time they changed it up and said we needed to do video verification and provide documents both to account owner and inventory source. We did all this and did video verification which seemed to go well. but eventually they said nope, final answer.
So arbitration seems to be our best bet

As far as AMZN is concerned,
You do not have any inventory
your account cannot be verified.
You engage in retail arbitrage, worse, with its arch enemy WMT-AMZN customers received the item and find out it is from WMT and could go to shop on WMT.com in the future instead of shopping on AMZN.
You need to talk to a lawyer, how do you prove you are the AMZN seller?

If there is a lot of money involved,OP may as well hear what AMZN lawyers have to say/
OP said this is not the first time she was caught playing retail arbitrage,so research AMZN rules on repeat violations why it is not releasing her fund?
MAY BE NEXT TIME,TRY BUYING FROM TGT,OR even Ebay seller
