Yes, 1 for each acct. I can usually find them around $10 or so. Some members here were finding them for $5 at Big Lots. I just label each phone with the acct. name and have them all layed out here on a shelf beside me.

Prepaid phones like trac phones are actually kind of cheap. They come with 20 minutes and you can find them for around $15. The 20 minutes expires in 3 months. So it cost like 5 dollars a month for 3 months. Assuming you don't need to use the other 19 minutes (minus the 1 minute to activate). Online services like call forwarding usually cost like 19.99 a month.

All of the above mentioned are great ideas, especially what the Forum recommends, so you can't go wrong there.
For myself, I only wanted one Stealth and Paypal account. So what I did was keep my current phone line through my local phone company and just added what they call a "teen-line" that has a special ring and its' own phone number for just an additional $2 a month.
I only use this number for Steath purposes only. My account has been up for about 9 months and the only time they have called was when I opened my Ebay account for verification.

Hope this helps someone, it's food for thought.

Google voice is now free for all, can anyone comment if it would work, if yes that would be a great way for disposable phone numbers.

I just have one question/problem about this phone forwarding numbers, when you type your area code and it gives you a list of about 10 numbers, don't you think some of those numbers already might be banned on eBay/amazon...

I haven't been able to figure out how the Virgin phones work as far as how they charge you. The packages say something like 'pay only on the days you use the phone' or something similar.

If memory serves me correctly I think you can pick up the phones at Big Lots as well for about $15, but how much does it actually cost you to use them.

For my $$$ I still like the Net10 phones. For $20 you get the phone and 300 minutes which is great if you also want to use the phone for listing stuff on craigslist or elsewhere where you don't want your real number out there.

Of course if all you need is a call from ebay, a call from Paypal, a call from Amazon and a call from craigslist (yes they require phone verification now, at least for certain items) then there is no better deal out there than the $5-$8 tracfones with 20 minutes at BigLots
