Default Amazon has lowered the velocity limit for new account?

I have recently noticed that Amazon would put new accounts under first review as soon as they hit $700? Has anyone experienced the same thing? Appreciate your input, thanks!!

I don't think there is a EXACT number that the reviews can happen at.

That has happened to me sometimes. In my opinion, Amazon also has daily limits on new accounts but I have not been able to figure out the # for daily limits. Maybe max. 6 sales a day and/or $135 limit a day depending on what category you are selling into.

I've noticed that aswell. Seller limits are getting smaller and smaller......

Last account was limited at $600, as opposed to other accounts reviewed at $800.

I have had Amazon accounts go into review at $300, and others that hit $1200 before being reviewed. I have not been able to detect what makes it happen. And no, I don't sell workout DVD's...

In the US, we DO know that the magic number that normally triggers velocity reviews is $750. An overwhelming number of reports tell us that.

If my math is right, then 500 GBP = 750 USD (approximately)

So, this looks like it fits the pattern exactly. It would be interesting to know why some accounts deviate from the pattern, but I doubt that we will ever know for sure.
