Default Sorry if pointless but...

Fired up an "uber" old computer on a network to see whether I could do anything for Amazon with it.

The klunker only had IE v 6.0 on it and kept giving me messages on the Amazon site to accept certificates and what not - could not even get past registration.

I am guessing this browser is just way too old to use? Any thoughts? Or am I just an idiot ha

IE 6.0 is ancient. Worse, it's one of the most insecure browsers out there. Not recommended. Use Firefox, Chrome, IE 7.0+, or Safari.

Note: Opera does not seem to be fully compatible with Seller Central.

Thanks ovidiu for the confirmation. Have to upgrade the browser pronto. I like IE 8.0 and Firefox.

IE 8 is probably too slow for a really old computer, and will probably not run on an older OS. Try Firefox.

IE 6 was bundled with Windows 2000, if I remember right. Possibly with the older XP releases, too.
