VMWare and Windows

Hi guys. Just a quick general question that the search button couldn't seem to answer. If I am running multiple machines on my computer, do I need a new serial key with every install of Windows 7?

I don't know, but on the other hand you can install windows 8 consumer preview for free instead.

yes because each virtual machine is a fresh installation so will need activated, there are plenty of ways around this including calling microsoft with your cd key and getting them to rearm the activations on it, just tell them a white lie and your good to go

@vlb, it won't work like that. Microsoft isn't stupid, they will disable your existing activated computers when you call in, assuming you have a single license retail product key.

Well there are "other ways" but you're gonna have to do some reasearch on your own.
