if AZ finds even tiny evidence of you trying to work the system and will get deleted. If AZ things that you are just bad seller then you get a ban. Lately AZ mostly deletes accounts vs banning, my experience.

Always a chance of pure deletion - if the account gets linked or you are suspected of selling f*ke items...2 examples come to mind

Yes deleted accounts on the LARGE part have had poor success with getting back funds.

Wish I could see new success stories but I have not heard of much in a long long time.

I don' think they'll call the bank, but AZ is known for using this method to simply gather more information about you.

A method that is a waste of time since banks - in general - should not be giving out this kind of info without proper paperwork

I recently lost much money on deleted accounts. I'd say things are getting worse now, as for me 1-2 years ago Amazon used to be much easier to deal with. In reference to their bank info requests - technically they could use such info in legal actions against you in future if ever needed. Very unlikely though. I think that's just another try to grab as much personal data about you as possible. No bank will provide amazon with anything upon you until a relevant court order is issued. Otherwise that would be a massive breach of contract
