Help! VMware virtual machines all disappear on windows 8

Hi guys,
Today I found all my virtual machines hosted on windows 8 disappeared after restarting the computer. I don't know what caused this problem. How can I find them back? Please help!

You would need to give more info, what do you mean disappeared? Where were you storing the vmware images, what folder?

All VMs are stored in files. Are these files still in place?
