Purchased building, found out previous owner was an Amazon Seller

Full disclosure: Running multiple seller accounts already. Set up this new account with Fresh IP, new vmware, and new CC. Also blocked all connections besides the 24vc so there is no possible way to get linked. I'm 100% positive there is no way there could have been a link.



So we purchased this building about 3 weeks ago and set up an Amazon Account. Well a few days later the account was "put on hold" as seller support said and we must contact an account specialist to figure out why.

Once that account was put on hold we could no longer login to it. We emailed the account specialist and they told us the account was associated with another closed account. I have tried explaining to them multiple times we just purchased this building and have no affiliation with the previous owner/account.

Any ideas on what to do or who I can try to get a hold of to explain this instead of just getting auto deleted?

If you can't login, the account was deleted.

Using the same address as someone previously used isn't enough to get an account closed. But if you used the same IP + same address as a previously closed account then that would probably do it

I would check and make sure the IP wasn't re-used

It was a guaranteed Fresh IP from 24vc

The thing that sucks, is im sure this happens to alot of legit people on both Amazon/ebay.


Account on hold, are you logging into the buyer side?

Keep emailing them till you get a rep with half a brain. On the seller side, different tax id info should prove you are a completely different person/company. Try contacting seller performance and sending them any docs that can prove you are different.
