DOB being asked during account creation

Does Amazon ask for DOB during the seller account creation process?

I havent made an account for a while and forget.

Watched some creation videos to refresh my memory it does not appear they do. If im wrong or if Amazon somehow stores this please correct me.

...maybe they log the ID DOB. Not sure if my old original non-stealth account required ID verification. If they do log the ID DOB it could link or if there's a manual investigation and they compare my passports.

Update: Found an old "Legal Entity" case from 2014 in my email inbox when I created the account. I cant determine if I sent them my ID to open the account and the case no longer shows in my case log. Damn.

Update2: Called Amazon they said they dont "track" cases from this far back. Cant determine if I sent them an ID or not when I opened this account in 2014. If I did they would have a copy of my old passport. I have a new one now but the date of birth and my face are obviously the same if I was to use on a new stealth account.

Any nifty ways I can check if I sent them my ID previously?

Can any veterans confirm if Amazon was requiring seller accounts to submit ID in 2014?

driver license / passport , bank statement , utility bill , invoice is 100% asked by Amazon now. Atleast it's what happening on US site, i think CA site is the same.

Im trying to find what year amz started to require ID for new accounts.

To know if they already have my passport on file. It seems no one or any of the account sellers know

Just make the shop using your PP if you're uncertain of it

If it passes verification doesn't get closed/linked, you're good to go for the most part

They will close the shop/suspend it if there is a link once you verify it most likely
