Default verification process over the phone

In order to change bank account to receive payments on an old professional seller account I need to do a "verification process over the phone."

Does anyone know exactly what will be asked?

have not seen that request yet, but could be yet another issue that will come up in the future

can you copy/paste the generic email you received from amazon with this info? Might be helpful to others

What did you do to trigger that? Did you open up a case and ask/request something and their response was that? Or what?

I attempted to do normally by just adding a new bank account, part of the process asks to put in the bank number of the old account, when I went to do that it would give an error stating that the old account was wrong, which it was not. So I opened a case and after like 3 responses they finally said you need to do a phone verificaiton to add a new bank account

Yep. Same issue happened to me. I'd let it sit for a day or two, then try the old acc number again.

Normal process if you forgot the original account # or the # is wrong
