You can leave it. I left mine and used a new point of contact and passed. I've also changed it and nothing happens. I dont think it makes a difference.

Anytime you change a name on an account they most likely will ask for re-verification with documents.

I'd just leave it be.

Anyone successfully edited bank info or credit card to submit during the re-verification process? My Bank Account used for deposits is in my personal name and the account uses LLC as business entity. Not sure if I can add the LLC name under my name on the statement and try submitting it?

AFAIK you cannot change any info during verification, kinda defeats the object one would think.

Sorry I meant "creative edit" on the bank statement so it matches what Amazon asks for.

It has worked in the past, not sure how reliable it is now. They are very good at spotting doctored documents.

That said, what options do you have?

Hey guys,

I am sorry for to much text, but I really need your help.

I have received same email from initial post and they giving me 60 days to complete re-verification.

My account was about 6 years old and registered on Ukraine individual. Then I created an LLC and changed all the details to LLC (business address, legal entity, bank account, change method and etc.). I am even allowed me to selling a pesticides (only allowed for US residents).

Now I have a question is what address I need to put in "residential address" column.

The first part of verification is for a company. There is no issue to put my registered company address to a business address.
The second part of verification is for a contact person. They require my passport - I'll send them my Ukraine passport, date of birtch and etc.. Next thing is a residental address. Do I need to put my home (Ukraine) address or I need to use exactly same company US address? I am asking because I saw in a seller forums that Amazon decline applications with such respons:
"The country of residence that you selected in Seller Central when you registered your account does not match the country in the documents that you provided."

You need to put where you live or where you can prove they will ask proof of address

If they want to send me a code it will be OK to use USA address. If they asked for an utilities that will be a problem. But I never heard cases when Amazon want to verify a residental address, only just a business address.

They only verify business address by sending code and that’s only fore new accounts not old account, they will be needing from you business address proof and residential address proof as long as you can provide you can provide that address

I understand how they verify business address, I am attaching bank statement for this.
How they verifying residential address for point of contact? What exactly they are requesting? I know they do it for UK/EU account, but for US ...

Can someone post copy and paste or at least list of the re-verification process on here so there are no surprises in the middle of re-verification regarding the questions and documents Amazon asks for?

I noticed someone mentioned that Amazon asks both address of the Business Entity (LLC) as well as name and address of the Point of Contact? Is that correct? Can that be also the business address or no? Do they need to see utility bills or proof of address? I just want to be prepared and know all the questions asked ahead of time so I have everything ready during the re-verification.

Usually they ask for ID and Bank statement.

My question about a Residential Address. I am living outside of US, but own an LLC. Can I put same address to Residential as my Business (where is my company registered)? Anyone test this?
I do not want to put my Ukraine address, just because I had a hard work to change my account to USA region to apply for a pesticides and resolve issue with brands approval that "Does not qualify".

You were right. The disburse feature came back after 24 hrs and failed again.

I just happened to look at my bank account info page and they wanted re-verification.
There was no notification about this either by email or on my account health page. Just a notification to verify ID and UTR.

I verified the bank account with stealth statement and attempted disbursement again.
This time I got the email confirmation and it's landed in my account today.

So the lesson learned is this. If your funds are locked due to identity verification, just check your bank account info page to see if that needs to be verified too. You may get access to funds before you take the risk of providing your creative stealth ID.

Also quick question regarding the Bank Statement - Can we creatively edit so it includes both Contact Person's Name AND LLC Company Name under it, or that's never the case on bank statements and it will look suspicious? I feel like every single company bank account I had only ever listed the LLC entity and didn't list my personal name anywhere on it?

You can use secretary of state number. Some people have even used EIN number and passed.

What if the account is under Person's name. Both point of contact and Business Entity only show a person's name and I don't know anything about this person? Any idea what I should do in this case?

I uploaded a driving licence I had for the account from years ago, and it worked.

I changed the legal entity prior to verifying one account. It did trigger address verification for them to send a post card. After that I put a new point of contact when verifying.

That was an 8 year old account. I'm not sure if it will work with newer accounts.

I have passed verification on 3 stealth accounts.
Everything seemed to be approved and working.
2 weeks later they are asking to re-re-verify again.

All of them were registered on individuals. Does it matter if I have LLC or not? should not be that important in theory.

Anyone get an email like this? They usually let me try again when it fails but never seen this. All my listings are inactive as well. If you have seen it did they reset verify page for you to resubmit?

They sent me this when I was late with this re-verification (60 days have passed). But I still was able to get reverified even after 60 days. And by the way disbursements worked even with this message you ve posted.

Yes, it was a glitch. I just had to resend the same submission and voila - I am verified again. But I hope this won't repeat.

Getting ready to pull the trigger on one re-verification and still trying to decide the best route. I have a stealth account that's is on person's name and I have NO ID or Social or any other info on this person. So I have two ways to go:
1. Change .pdf on bank info to match this person's name and use my own name as point of contact with my passport and company address so it doesn't get linked.
2. During the re-verification process actually use a new LLC info as a Business Entity (matches the amazon store name, and is owned by myself as well as the guy who's name is on the Amazon Account) and use my own passport as a point of contact. Change the bank statement .pdf to this LLC name with the guy who's name is on the amazon account listed above the LLC, as well as my name listed above the LLC. That way they have everything they need - LLC with EIN that's legit, the guy that owns the account is on both the LLC and the bank statement, the LLC is on the bank statement, and me as a contact person is both on the bank statement and the LLC? If this flies it will pretty much become a legit account as I can remove the other guy from the LLC later.. The downside is that I am pretty much changing everything on the account - legal owner, point of contact, etc. which may raise even more red flags. Any thoughts on this?

I have not been asked either to verify my identity or bank account yet for Amazon USA BUT assumme I will be .....is there anyone else in my boat ?

ps cannot write private messages yet alekov as yet to send 25 messages but good luck let me know how it goes. I get the impression Amazon does not really care and is just doing this to satisfy gov regs which helps a lot. Also just imagine how many verifications each seller rep has to do a day?

pps I am wondering if may be because I am a non resident with a UK address so are doing people like me last? Anyone have any thoughts?

ppps can anyone confirm succeeded with a little creativity?
