Amazon A-Z question

Any experienced sellers your input is appreciated

I am not selling anything illegal, this is completely legitimate but it is still hard to keep every customer happy as you may know. I have 50 positive feedback (100%) but recently got two A-Z claims from buyers who did not contact me and just decided to file a claim for a broken product :( gurrrr..... I am working on getting the buyers to remove them but am worried this may be enough for amazon to block/suspend my account?

I know you have to tip toe around amazon and wanted to know if this is enough for them to suspend an account. And if anyone knows how much it takes for them to kill your seller account.

1 A-ot-Z claim can be enough if they smell a garbage product. They do random reviews of the account. Consider yourself lucky to survive until this point - you could be blocked at anytime.

Hopefully no bad feedback on you - that would be icing on the cake for review.

In short, there is no SET number - it's very random and they don't explain anything.

I don't think you have to worry. I've had more than one a-z plenty of times. Only downside, is they may look at that when they do their 30 day review. But Amazon seems to care more about how you handle the claims. Refund and move on because it seems as if fighting an a-z claim is futile.

2 A-Z claims might be OK if you are doing enough volume. If you have had 250 orders and 2 A-Z's, you might survive. But if the rate was 2 out of 75, then it gets dicey. But it also depends on what you sell.

You mentioned your products are legitimate. That is a definite positive. HOWEVER - if the products are in a high-risk category, it could still spell trouble.

For example, if you are selling DVD's, you may have a harder time surviving this than if you were selling books.

But with Amazon, nobody can say for sure. Best thing to do is resolve the claims VERY POLITELY, be professional and courteous - even though you might want to tell the buyers to go jump in the lake.

Thanks guys, 2 days after my posting my account went into suspension. Appealed it the best way I know how and now it is back up and running.

Im thinking about transferring a large portion of my inventory to another stealth account while this one cools down. This account has far less feedback so sales will fall, but its worth the safety net.

Amazons system is pretty flawed. My lesson from this is it is sometimes its better to take a full loss (refund without getting merch returned), than to drag anything out.

Too many idiots in this world to expect normalcy from all customers.

If you already listed the inventory on Amazon, you might want to hold off. If a new account gets opened, and a lot of the same titles are listed, it may red-flag you. Amazon does this all the time.

Amazon has bots (or whatever you want to call it/them) in place to detect similarities between seller accounts.

yes, do wait on relisting all your same stuff on another account.

also be sure when you get an AZ or neg or whatever, to go to your seller account and read the messages, it takes you from the red zone to green zone, just by clicking in - kind of like verifying to them that you are aware of your business

and cool your sales down for at least a month or 2

( I know this may be painful just going in to xmas)
