Amazon Banking requirements

Hi all,

New to the forums and amazon for that matter..

I am located in Australia and I am trying to setup an amazon account, it allows me to set it all up and add product but I am now at a point where I am trying to add bank account details and it does not allow Australian bank accounts. For the life of me I still can't understand why it has let me get this far and expect that I would have bank accounts setup all over the world

Are there any other Australian sellers that list on Amazon if so how do you get around the bank account issue or if there are users outside of the US that have worked out which bank to go with I would be greatful to hear from you

isnt there a amazon.au? If so are you selling on there and not the .com or any other ending?

no, there is not an AU site but I am only interested in listing on the international sites anyway such as US and UK as these are our biggest customer base

It seems like Amazon does not like us Aussies!!

Or maybe specific Australian rules are in effect that AZ can't bother with?
