VPS, Which one and what needed?

Hey guys!

So just to clarify I will be using a VPS for a buying account. I just have a couple of questions. What do you need to change if you use a VPS? Mac address, etc?

Also what VPS do you guys like?

I prefer private proxies to a VPS. With a VPS your operating system shows as Windows Server 2008 (or something similar) and I get the feeling you're more likely to be banned this way.

thanks guys! Im in the mix ive tried both vps and VPN but never for amazon so im debating on which one i should go with and what company
