Not really much you can do - Amazon is pretty rough on order defects. Is there a reason why you have those defects? Perhaps consider a letter explaining what exactly happened, how you identified the defects, and how you can guarantee no more problems - what category listing are you in by the way? Items are not counterfeit, are they?
Hettie, look at your business, see where you are going wrong, once you understand the reasons, work out how you can fulfil the orders correctly. Then send your plan to amazon on your appeal and hope for the best. Maybe post a copy here first to see if anyone can comment.
