No one is going to give away their secrects. That includes giving away items they can sell in volume to pump up metrics.

Its just the same as asking another seller where he gets his inventory.

With that being said,
I would make sure anything you sell can not cause any issues with buyers(poor products,ie). Ship all orders the same day or next day. Process all orders at night or early morning so you can drop them off first thing in the morning or process all orders in the evening so they can go out the same day(my cutoff time for USPS is 7PM, so I leave my house around 6:30pm with todays shipments so they go out same day). I would also ask for feedback on orders that you feel are 100%.

great advice, thank you.

However I am still very confused about AZ claims, I thought once they are opened then they still count against your ODR.

If I knew such I could have simply asked the customer to close the case before I refunded him. I even had a customer ask me how he could close the case once he found out, and I just told him that there was no point anymore so I just refunded him the money and closed it myself.

Doing so is against Amazon policy. Provide top-notch CS, then send a quick message and then mention if they are satisfied to consider withdrawing a claim/fb.

Providing stellar customer service there will be very little customer communication involved besides their initial request. Back and forth emails is just starting the clock for a pissy customer.

Once a buyer opens a claim, its on your account no matter what. This is listed in their help section and can also be found on topics in their seller forums.

No I dont mean offering them a refund in exchange for closing the claim because I know thats against the rules. I mean I could have had a customer that unknowingly opened a claim to close it.

But I am still not sure about these AZ claims being withdrawn by the buyer. Some people say they still count, some say they dont.
