Amazon buying account HOLD....

No emails, nothing. Just cant log on. I did not abuse prime. I never even sent to another address. No one can tell me anything besides an "account specialist" will have to call me since nothing is noted in my account.

Did not abuse returns. Only returns were Amazon mistakes. Example, ordered a desktop last week and it was a return/used so I returned it. Another item last month was a used projector, but it was missing the plug so it was not usable.

I had this account for ages, I dunno 12 years. I opened a selling account 1.5 years ago but with a different email. I wanted to keep everything separate, did not know about Amazon or their deleting accounts.

I guess the purpose of this thread is just a rant about my nervousness about losing my selling account too.

I want to get this fixed ASAP so I can sleep at night. Im not expecting a call back so Im planning on having to do this my self.

Is emailing jeff my only option?

I know there are some that have been canned for abusing things, did you get any emails or any reasoning? I did not get any emails.

I did buy alot from them. I resold anything I found I could make a dollar on. I dunno :/. Only had things shipped to one address though. My old work use to order from Amazon everyday. I dont know IF this is the reason, I can only guess. Maybe im jumping the gun and they just want to verify some orders, I dont know:/ But if an account is on hold I have read they email you to verify info.

Maybe its a good that my account is "hold" and not closed? I suspect I wont be getting any sleep until this is resolved. oh man. sorry for the long post.

Thought it got posted ages back too much of a risk to have buying/selling accounts in same info?

Maybe you reached your use-by date.

Are you 100% sure there was no dramas of any sorts just with the buyer's side?

Look at your last purchases. See if the seller is still around.

Going sleepless is counter-productive. You will make errors of judgement.

user3657, did you by chance use a credit card to buy items that was used (even way back in the past) to verify a seller account?

Yes I did rsot.

This was before I found these forums.

Drama? Cancellations? I would cancel alot of orders, but only from Amazon....
And I do have prime. I did learn that prime orders are not to be resold. I never shipped to a second address but myself. Once I learned about the prime TOS, I started shipping everything standard instead of two day. Incase of being flagged for that. Tiger-direct canceled my innercicrle(free shipping) membership because they said I ordered too much and was considered a reseller(and innercircle is can not be used for resellers).

I dont think resellers are banned, as my old work purchased from them every day and we were a 2500person company. We did not have a corporate account that I know of. We, IT, did all the ordering.

Might as well email jeff and hope for results because as it stands...yes, bad situation - I know the feeling.

I think that the credit card caught up to you finally or some other trigger...cant say 100% for sure with Az

I did get a call from Amazon about two week ago.
My mom left me a note with number. I called, it was Amazon's order verification department. Could not speak to a human(voicemail), I let it go. Did not see any emails about issues or that orders were pending verification.

Maybe the two are related, I dunno:/

Could no doubt be part of the problem.

If you still have that number try it again, then on to the email.

I figured I would chat with Amazon before work to see if any notes were posted to the account.....It allowed me to logon to chat this time.. I confirmed I can view my old orders! Im back in! I don't know what happened though....No contact yet.

I would like to know what happened, I don't have that number anymore. Should I contact them to see what I did wrong? They did cancel all my orders and removed everything from my cart. I had 8 pages in my cart:( Things I routinely buy that go on sale that were good for selling. When ever I seen "xxx price as been decreased to 15$ from 30$, that would be my hint to buy more. I don't think that is breaking any rules??
Believe it or not, things I bought on amazon made a lot of profit for me.

If it were me I would take it slow ordering more ****. And I wouldn't call them either. Stay under the radar for a while. In the meantime look into a backup plan in case the **** hits the fan again. Good luck dude.

I want to avoid any more issues with a new buying account.

Im going to open a ups box and and a separate amazon account for buying. The only thing that would be the same is my name. Would this be enough to link?

Doubtful. Names are not unique identifiers.... Unless your real name is user3657.

Name is the end-all link if all other info is different - especially for buying.

Can you be sure that all your other info differs though?

Correct me if I am wrong but you described a fairly comprehensive style of buying.

If you go out and repeat the same, have you not considered a link might happen?
