Default AZ claims and Negative feedback question

I have noticed twice now that when you receive a AZ claim it shows up right away on the metrics.

Although the short term or long term metrics are completely different date ranges (sometimes two weeks back) they will still show up on there. Is that a glitch from Amazon?

It doesn't seem fair being stuck with a claim or negative for an extra two weeks or so.

Its based on when the order was placed, not when the claim is filed. I think.

That might be true but still doesn't apply.

I just got an A-Z claim and automatically it showed up both in my short term and long term metrics.

The order was from November 25th and if it was by order date it shouldnt be in my short term.

Hmmm, could be 2 different claims a few weeks apart.

No its only 1 claim, because thats all I have.

However I was wrong. It seems that claims count on the day the order was placed, not the day it was opened.

On the good side of things, since the order was 2 months ago, it will go away in a couple of weeks.
