Default Is Amazon FBA worth it?

I have been checking out Amazon FBA reviews.
Mostly have been positive.

Tempted to have a try.
Having not to cope with posting and packaging, customer service etc etc seems like worth it.

I need help in understanding of FBA fees.

From my calculations by using Amazon FBA calculator.

Example:

Sell a product for £3.99
Referral fee: 0.60p
Total: £3.39

FBA fees are £1.72.

£3.99 - 0.60p - £1.72 =£1.67

Is there any more fees that I have missing on?

Thanks

you will get your fees and revenue WITHOUT VAT.

That's what I have using from that link.

I don't if this is true.

FBA fees are included with Amazon fees.

Thanks

It is true, dude, the fees is pretty high but it worth if you can manage to have an acceptable profit margin.

Dont put all your eggs in one basket, i learnt the hard way. I only send 25% of my stock to them at one time now, and when its down to last 15-20 items left in stock on FBA i resend more.

It is worth doing though, i look at it like this -

I could do it myself, shipping, package it myself, answer emails from liars, fear of a negative feedback ( you dont get negative feedbacks with FBA as they accept all responsibility and the feedback is removed/crossed out) having to pay petrol money to fill the car to go to posty, having to buy envelopes etc.

Sure the profits will be a bit more, but im happy to lose a couple of pounds per sale to let amazon do the work for me. Plus using FBA you will get the buy box if your price is better than the competitors so more than likely you are taking the sales, meaning selling much more quicker.

depends what your business model is,

If you sell a lot of high price items or a lot of low priced items..

Its bad enough that they can get away with holding our funds for whenever they like - I'm not interested in giving them my stock too even if its 25% or spread out

Best to try and get the buy box without FBA in my opinion

If someone whos using FBA and similar prices to you & in the same listing then good luck to you, theres about more chance of you wining the lotto. Thats the whole incentive for FBA is the buybox, its their money spinner.

I had used FBA in a previously banned account where they picked up skids of merchandise from my location. If I create a stealth account will I be linked if they pick up at the same location? How do I get around this?

I would say that using FBA is worth it if you are selling items in high value.

The scam buyers will be refunded by Amazon themselves rather than out of your own pocket should any shenanigans occur.

That sounds too good to be true. So Amazon just takes all responsibility for whatever you send them or how does that work?

As long as your registered address is close to your pickup address you are ok. Just use registered address for calculation of shipping on AZ, and just use your pickup address to UPS. The pickup address does not show up in the tracking.
